Sharing a tail wag and a smile: Meet the new comfort dog at UMaine (opens original article in a new tab)

The University of Maine Police Department has introduced Bear, a Comfort K9, to support the well-being of students, faculty, staff, and community members in Orono. Bear will attend campus events and visit with students alongside Sgt. Jamey Dover.

• Bear is an English Labrador Retriever raised by Boonefield Labradors.
• Bear's role is to provide comfort and support to the campus community.
• Bear will work with Sgt. Jamey Dover and attend campus events.
