Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy reported improved APSRTC performance including higher occupancy rates, modernization efforts, and financial growth under recent schemes and reforms.

• Stree Shakti and Divyang Shakti schemes increased APSRTC occupancy rate from 69% to 92%
• APSRTC modernized bus station amenities, added 1,489 new buses, and improved punctuality rates
• APSRTC repaid ₹1,240 crore in loans and interest between June 2024 and March 2026
• Transport department revenue reached ₹5,050.35 crore in 2025-26 with 9.81 lakh vehicle sales
