Photojournalist Pundalik K. Badiger and others received awards from Karnataka-based photo associations at a Bengaluru exhibition.

• Photojournalist Pundalik K. Badiger received the Chaya Rathna Award from Karnataka Video and Photo Association and Karnataka State Press Photographer Association.
• A photography exhibition was held in Bengaluru at Tripura Vasini Palace featuring works of news photographers.
• Other recipients of the award included Poornima, Vishweshwarappa S., Nagaraj Dastan, Rudraswami, M. Akram, and Pragati Gopalkrishna.
