The National Investigation Agency has taken over the investigation into the killing of three church leaders in Manipur's Kangpokpi district, following an ambush by armed miscreants that triggered ethnic tensions between Kuki and Naga communities. The violence, which began in 2023, has resulted in over 270 deaths and displaced 62,000 people.
