A bronze statue of Maharishi Sushruta, father of surgery, was unveiled at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, crafted by a Swamimalai sculptor using traditional techniques. The statue honors the ancient Sanskrit text 'Sushruta Samhita' and was installed with international medical professionals present. The statue will be permanently displayed near the staircase of the college.
