An LNG tanker from Qatar crossed the Strait of Hormuz as the US-Iran framework agreement takes effect, with signs of resumed shipping traffic. Three oil tankers also crossed the waterway, and while LNG tankers are the slowest to resume due to high costs, fertiliser shipments are expected to increase. Oil traffic is projected to recover to 70% of prewar levels.
