Supermarket chain Lidl has opened its first pub, The Middle Ale, in Dundonald, Belfast, after overcoming strict alcohol licensing regulations. The 60-seat pub includes an off-licence and created eight new jobs. Lidl also donated £1,000 in gift vouchers to the local foodbank.
