Hong Kong's construction industry will host a conference showcasing AI and robotics to automate tasks, improve safety, and increase efficiency, with government and industry funding supporting innovation.

• Hong Kong's construction industry will host the first Global AI and Smart Construction Conference and Exhibition (GASCCE) on June 24-25, 2026, showcasing AI systems and robotics for automation and safety improvements.
• Over 50 exhibitors will present solutions for different stages of construction projects, including remote crane operation, welding robots, and digital twin platforms, with several already applied on local projects.
• The event includes the CIC AI Award recognizing practical AI applications, and the Hong Kong government has allocated HK$1 billion to support construction innovation, with additional funding from the CIC.
