Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani visited Oman for talks on initiating negotiations involving Iran, Iraq and Gulf Arab states on the Strait of Hormuz, with Gulf states pushing for no transit fees and Iran possibly proposing other fees. The IMO is set to evacuate over 11,000 sailors stranded in the Gulf due to the US-Israel war against Iran.
