The Rape Crisis Centre reports that vulnerable survivors, including those with disabilities and from minority communities, face significant barriers in disclosing, reporting, and accessing support for sexual violence. Only 35.7% of incidents involving compounded barriers were reported in 2025, and over 40% more clients were seen compared to 2018.
