The Irish Refugee Council has been awarded The Bar of Ireland's 2026 Human Rights Award for its work in promoting refugee rights and supporting individuals through legal processes. The award recognizes the NGO's commitment to dignity, fairness, and a rights-based protection system as Ireland implements the EU Migration and Asylum Pact. The formal presentation will take place at The Bar of Ireland’s annual Human Rights Conference on World Refugee Day.
