Alex Eala and Venus Williams were eliminated in the doubles quarterfinals of the Bad Homburg Open by Olivia Nicholls and Tereza Mihalikova, who have a long-standing partnership. Both Eala and Williams also lost in the singles rounds, but they will compete at Wimbledon where Eala is seeded for the first time and Williams will team with her sister Serena.
