A tricycle operator and farmer were kidnapped in Abia State and rescued after the victim used Igbo to reveal their location to authorities and family.

• Tricycle operator Dennis Okechi and farmer Onyinyechi Ekechukwu were kidnapped on 10 June by six armed men in Abia State
• Okechi used Igbo language to secretly inform family and authorities of their location leading to rescue
• Police confirmed the kidnapping and stated suspects fled during rescue operation
