APC wins Kano reps bye-election (opens original article in a new tab)

APC candidate Rabiu Shuaibu has been declared winner of the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa federal constituency bye-election in Kano State with 35,356 votes. Lawal Haruna of APM secured 268 votes and Abubakar Muhammad of LP got 98 votes. The NDC opted out of the election to preserve political energy for 2027.
