Ateneo de Davao University has offered scholarships to the six siblings of late athlete Rene Baterbonia to fulfill his dream of providing them with education. Other Ateneo schools also offered help but the family chose AdDU because it is closer to their home in Agusan del Sur. The university aims to keep Baterbonia's memory alive by supporting his family.
