Ottawa city council approved three development projects, including not-for-profit housing in the Glebe, a seniors' residence in Orleans, and a highrise in Woodpark, along with changes to business improvement areas.

• City council approved 90 not-for-profit housing units in the Glebe on a transferred land parcel.
• A seniors' residence with 397 rental units was approved for Centrum Blvd. in Orleans.
• A 24-storey highrise development was approved near the Lincoln Fields LRT station in Woodpark.
• Preston Street BIA expansion and a new Cyrville BIA were approved to enhance commercial districts.
