Sentencing of SJB MP Chaminda Wijesiri Postponed to July 28 (opens original article in a new tab)

The Badulla High Court postponed the sentencing of SJB MP Chaminda Wijesiri and another accused to July 28 after finding them guilty of assaulting police officers in 2019. The court was informed of the death of the first accused, Bandula Ratnayake, before the sentencing.
