Malaysian biomass producer Weng Yat Resources has signed a memorandum of understanding with Japan-based DSB to create a biomass supply platform for the Japanese market, aiming for over RM60 million in annual revenue once full exports start in 2027. The partnership includes a trial shipment of 10,000 metric tonnes of wood pellets this year.
