Canadian federal benefits including Old Age Security and Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit payments are set to be issued to qualifying residents in June and July 2026, with amounts depending on income and family status.

• Old Age Security (OAS) payments will be issued on June 26, 2026, for eligible Canadians aged 65-74 with annual income below $148,451, up to $743.05 monthly.
• The Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit (CGEB) will start on July 3, 2026, with payments 25% higher than the previous HST/GST credit, up to $679 for single individuals and $890 for married individuals.
• Income thresholds for OAS and CGEB depend on age, residency, tax-filing status, and number of children, with clawbacks reducing payments for those exceeding income limits.
