Sri Lanka's tourism sector shows recovery with over 1.1 million arrivals in first half of 2023, led by Indian tourists.

• Sri Lanka recorded 1,104,354 tourist arrivals between January 1 and June 21.
• India was the top source market with 281,418 arrivals year-to-date.
• June 2023 saw 82,332 tourist arrivals, with India leading as the main source.
