The Supreme Court of Sri Lanka has allowed an appeal against a ruling that dismissed a challenge to Minister Ananda Wijepala's eligibility to serve in parliament.

• Petitioner argued Wijepala was ineligible as he held both MP and President's Chief of Staff positions.
