Police in Jaffna arrested the main suspect in the murder of a female physiotherapist, along with his wife and child, after intercepting them during a bus journey. The suspect, identified as the victim's boyfriend, had allegedly abandoned her body in a car before fleeing the area. The suspects were found hiding in Negombo and Chilaw and had attempted to leave the country illegally. The victim, 34-year-old Shamya Darshani, was a physiotherapist attached to Ampara General Hospital.
