Fisheries Ministry aids cyclone-affected fishermen (opens original article in a new tab)

The Fisheries Ministry distributed boats and fishing nets to cyclone-affected fishermen in Jaffna, Mullaitivu, and Mannar districts.

• Fishermen in Jaffna, Mullaitivu, and Mannar districts received boats and nets after Cyclone Ditwah.
• Minister Ramalingam Chandrasekar distributed 18 boats and 32 nets worth over Rs. 10 million.
• Three boats went to Jaffna, 13 to Mullaitivu, and two to Mannar in the first phase.
