Lavery’s Bar in Belfast has been granted a licence to host outdoor gigs and DJs for the first time, expanding its entertainment options to beer gardens and a rooftop area with extended hours.

• Lavery’s Bar in Belfast receives a seven-day annual outdoor entertainment licence for live gigs and DJs
• The licence allows outdoor events in three areas with capacities up to 140 people and extends operating hours to 1am
• The bar has been a historic venue since 1918 and previously only had indoor entertainment licences
• The council received two noise complaints about the bar in the last 12 months
