Adolescence studios handed degree course powers (opens original article in a new tab)

A production park where Netflix's Adolescence was filmed has been given the authority to run its own degree courses, allowing it to shape creative education and expand its offerings.

• Production Park in South Kirkby has been granted powers to run its own degree courses by the Office for Students.
• The centre previously had courses run by the University of Greater Manchester but now can take ownership of them.
• The Academy of Live Technology at Production Park offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and has grown from seven to 300 students.
