KNPC leads regional refining race, surpasses Aramco (opens original article in a new tab)

Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) surpassed Saudi Aramco to become the largest oil refining facility in the Middle East after acquiring the Zour Refinery, with a daily capacity of 1.4136 million barrels. Saudi Aramco and ADNOC follow in second and third place respectively. KNPC also expanded refining capacity at other facilities through upgrades and adopted new technology for equipment monitoring.
