Barn Door to be demolished, Soluna to open in its place in spring 2028 (opens original article in a new tab)

The historic Barn Door restaurant in San Antonio closed in May 2026 and will be demolished to make way for Soluna, a Mexican restaurant, which plans to open in spring 2028. The Calvillo brothers, owners of Soluna, will rebuild on the 1.6-acre lot previously valued at $1.9 million.
